Valley Road Primary School takes very seriously the issue of safeguarding. We also believe it is important to operate a common sense approach that does not mean an overreaction through red tape and policy.

To enable this to be possible we need to have a clear set of guidelines that make sense to staff, pupils and parents. These have been arrived at after discussion with the safeguarding team at Oxfordshire County Council.

The school’s Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mr T Coulson and Mrs C Lock.
